Digging for Dementia Project

Kevin recently attended a meeting at the Humphrey Booth Resource Centre and met a number of people who are involved with projects for people who have Dementia. These projects are looking at garden design and re-design and also at involving people with Dementia in gardening sessions etc.

Digging for Dementia – Launch Party – 17/08/13 – 12 to 3pm

Sarah Noone is the founder and project leader for Digging for Dementia. This is a project centred on the Valley Community Gardens in Swinton. There is a launch party on the 17th of August between 12 and 3pm and residents are invited to attend. There is a lot more information on the Digging for Dementia website <click here>

Award winning RHS garden design and advice – Joan Mulvenna
